Policies

Dress Code - All dancers are required to wear the appropriate dancewear to all classes. Please click here for a detailed copy of our dress code. All hair must be pulled back off of the face for all classes.

Parent Viewing - Parents and/or guests are not permitted in the studio while classes are in session. It can be very distracting to our younger dancers, and many are uncomfortable with strangers watching. To keep all of our dancers comfortable and happy dancing, we will only allow viewing to occur during the designated viewing week in November, as well as the week prior to our Holiday performance and year-end recital. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter!

Tuition - Tuition is determined by a class fee (32 classes) and then divided into 9 equal payments for your convenience. For this reason, full tuition payments are due regardless of the number of classes each month. All clients are responsible for 9 full payments, from September through May.

Late Fees - Tuition is due during the first week of each month (1st—7th). Tuition received after the 14th of any month will be charged a late fee, unless prior arrangements have been discussed. Any other designated fee (costume fee, entry fees, etc.) will be charged a late fee once it is more than 14 days late.

NSF Cheques - All NSF cheques will be charged a $30.00 fee to cover bank costs. NSF cheques may also be subject to late fees.

Refunds - There will be no refund for missed or cancelled classes. Refund for class fees will not be given after November 15th except in the case of severe illness or injury, at the studio’s discretion. Registration and costume fees are non-refundable.

Performances - All of our students at On Stage are invited to perform in our annual holiday and spring performances. The spring recital requires the purchase of a costume as well as attending a mandatory dress rehearsal the night before. You must notify the studio by October 31st if you do not plan on participating in either performance.

Costumes - All dancers will be fitted during the months of October and November for a costume to wear for our spring recital peformance. A costume down-payment is due by November 1st, with the balance being due once the costumes are complete.

Concerns/Questions – Please express any concerns or questions to the director, Meghan Seaman. She can be reached via phone (519-273-2964) or e-mail (meghan@onstagedance.ca).  Our instructors are very busy teaching classes, and are unable to leave classes for any amount of time to speak with parents. Your co-operation in this matter is appreciated.
